A coffee house is the meeting point for a motley group: crotchety old men lamenting the state of the nation, a crooked threesome bent on eradicating corruption through mostly foul means, a troubled live-in couple, and a husband-and-wife duo (Ashutosh and Sakshi) who could be called, for technical purposes, the hero and heroine of this film which tries to tackle all kinds of issues with scant success.

Modern young couples treat their mother and father as glorified servants. Chasing advertisements goes against the grain of a fair and free press. TV channels are the repositories of all evil, and their rapacious bosses are devils incarnate. Ambitious girls who sell body-and-soul have to cut their wrists in hotel rooms. And, oh, before we forget, self-serving politicians of all hues are worse than TV channel heads.

Kamal Haasan deserves all the possible acting awards of our country and beyond for his brilliant act. His each role out of the 10 is a challenging task but he impresses the most as the Vaishnavite Brahmin Ranga. Asin in double role playing his love interest doesn’t get real great scope like she had in Ghajini but she impresses nonetheless.
Mallika Sherawat in a role with negative shades is good too. Jaya Prada does a competent job. Rest all cast fits the bill and do a fine job as well. Himesh Reshammiya’s music doesn’t impress though and the almost three hours plus running time gets a bit tiring at times as well. But then you realise the set up as big as this requires such a long running time.

This is the story of those men who can go any length to achieve their ambition. The story starts with a couple who come from a small town to realize their dreams .Viju (Sanjay Mishra) is a clerk while Kavita(Sadhika Randhawa) is a housewife. They are living happily but their life becomes very hectic when a struggling director Shyam Gopal Verma comes to stay with two friends Prem (who is a media promoter) and Aslam (who is working in private bank). Every night they fight for some or the other thing and this gives problem to Viju and Kavita. Sometime Prem gets a chance to see Viju and Kavita's romance and he goes into flash forward mode.

One day Shyam sees a vacancy in Live India channel for a director. Live India is going to make a film based on a real life story and anyone can submit their proposal. Shyam is very happy to know all the details. Next day Shyam and his friend Prem reach Live India office and come to know that more than five hundred struggling directors have already applied for the film. Shyam fills the form and submits it on the counter. Now Shyam starts thinking what kind of story should he shoot and how is it going to be possible.

One fine day Shyam is looking outside the window when he sees Viju coming from office and his wife Kavita lovingly waiting for him. As Viju enters the house, Kavita hugs him tightly. Viju becomes happy and starts kissing her. Shyam notices that there is a lovely chemistry going on between them and thinks that this can be a really nice story.

Kunal Khemu play the role of Sachin. Sachin is full of good ideas. Implementation is always the problem. Sachin is ambitious, he is street-smart and he is also a National College Dropout. Currently, he is content doing little fiddling with his cousin and best friend, Zaramud. The only problem is that Zaramud is the opposite of tact and common sense and mystical knack landing them both into trouble. So thanks to Zaramud, such a trick goes wrong.
It begins as a routine to collect money when the AGM calls his “employees, Sachin and Zaramud to go to Delhi. But when hardcore Mumbaites countries in the “Land of pedant’, they are taken for a wild ride. All the cabbie to a street Urchin seems to think this is fair game. At the same time, Rahul (Boman Irani) is the Pits. Under pressure from Sachin, on top of the already existing pressure from its local debt collectors, Kuber (Amit Mistry), Rahul come up with a plan.
Under ‘recovered’ General Meeting of money they intend to return to Mumbai. But leaving Delhi proves more difficult than it looks like Sachin is “trusted” cabbie has his own design. Sachin now owe much to the General Assembly than he has previously done. Rahul not owe money AGM longer, but he owes the bank money he took. Non-payment could cost him life - in prison. The hatch a plot to make money - much of it - and change their lives forever. No more routine banking jobs. They want to score that elusive “century”, which would allow them control over their lives. And in his own way, they end up making history!

Little Zizou Hindi movie starts around the Parsi community and begins with Art’s take of Russians invading their street. There are quite a few scenes that are touching and tickle your funny bone, like when Xerxes explains to Liana that her mother feels sorry for him and does not love him, Roxy pleading with her mother to sell their hotel and when Boman thinks Zenobia is dating Art.


The protagonist is a little boy Xerxes (Jahan Bativala) whose father Cyrus the Second Khodaji (Sohrab Ardeshir) is a 'bogus humbug' and a spiritual healer who starts a Parsi Liberation movement that annoys their neighbour Boman Presswala (Boman Irani) who runs the newspaper. His brother is Artaxerxes (Imad Shah) who is into fantasy, comics, 747s and Boman’s daughter Zenobia.


Xerxes is at once cheeky, misses his dead mother but doesn’t mind playing that card when he needs to get his way. And he loves Zinedine Zidane. The movie ends as he discovers the truth about his mother’s death.


There are appearances by John Abraham, Cyrus Broacha, Shiamak Davar and Kamal Sidhu. Roxanne Presswala (Zenobia Shroff) is a natural as she chides her family and indulges Xerxes for the bit of affection he is always looking for. Miss Patel (Shernaz Patel) is Khodaji’s Girl Friday aka his personal Cruella DeVille.
